Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good light output - good value When I remodeled my kitchen a few years ago, the only choice I had for PAR20 bulbs for the recessed lighting was halogen/incandescent but I wanted LED as I had already installed LED under-cabinet lights. With the higher availability of LED lighting now, I compared wattage, lumens and cost of 11 similar bulbs. The Leapfrog bulbs were the best value so I purchased seven for my recessed lights and was extremely pleased with the results. October 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great replacement for halogen It is brighter (used as a flag light) than the 60 watt halogen and cheaper to run all night. September 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very good halogen replacement I used these to replace Par 16 Halogen Flood bulbs. They give off plenty of light and are a bit whiter than the halogen. It took me a litte while to get used to the whiter light. I do have them on dimmable circuit and sometimes they flicker a bit, which is annoying. Overall, I think they are a great bulb to replace the halogens and save lot's of watts. September 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by leapfrog par 20 I like the light coloration, seems pretty accurate to a halogen. It dims well. My gripe with this bulb is it has the 'lag time' the some LED bulb and lights have when you flick the switch on. I find it pretty annoying. August 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by As advertised Haven't tried dimming yet, but it is as advertised. August 14, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Works great! I tried one of these in our kitchen with the idea to replace our existing halogens. The light output is great, the color is slightly whiter than the existing halogens, and I prefer this over the halogens. My only issue is that this is still an expensive light. Has worked great for several months with no problems. Dims fine. March 29, 2014
