Rated 4 out of 5 by Stuart Great bulbs for ceiling fan
We bought these lights for a bedroom ceiling fan. They look good, snap on in a split second, and so far we have no quality issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PghBob Nice replacements for hot incandescents
Good looking, efficient replacements for my old incandescent bulbs. Much less heat is being generated. They look pretty good too. They passed the WIFE INSPECTION. She said they look a bit like small ice cream cones when not in operation. Very bright. The light is a bit whiter than my old incandescents. I purchased a Lutron dimmer to go with these bulbs, and it works perfectly. Dims light down to a very acceptable level, but not completely off. I think this is by design.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SamT Good product
I have been converting the lights in my house to all LEDs. I bought 6 of these for the candelabra in my dining room (16'x20'). They look great, and provide plenty of light for most of the room. Candelabra is located 5 feet from one end, so some additional light is added at the far end.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ksam These bulbs look nice and work well
These bulbs look nice and my family couldn't tell that I switched from incadescent to LED bulbs. The dimming leaves
something to be desired with the fixture I have. I've tried other dimmable LEDs in the same fixture, and they work. These bulbs just look better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JSTE Nice and bright -- does not dim quite as much as I'd like
I purchased one of these and also a similar one from Toshiba, the 6B11/27EF-UP 5.6 Watt Torpedo - Frosted Straight Tip - 40 Watt Equal - 2700K Warm White - 350 Lumens - Candelabra Base - Dimmable.
Both put out a nice quantity of light, and the color quality of the light is very similar. This one from Kobi appears to be very slightly brighter when the dimmer is at full strength. However, my -1 star is due to the Kobi reducing less that I'd like when the dimmer is down to the lowest level. In comparison, the Toshiba dims down fully as much as an incandescent. For sure the Kobi does dim, but probably only to about 30% (as a very rough eyeball estimate) whereas the Toshiba dims all the way down to 0%.
That said, at current prices the Kobi is $4 less expensive than the Toshiba. Even though the dimming is not quite as thorough as I'd prefer, dimming is not all that important to me and I'll be getting more of the Kobi's to fill out our chandelier.
All in all, I'm quite pleased -- this chandelier has been the last place in our house still using incandescents (the CFL candelabra bulbs we've tried just couldn't put out enough light). What a relief to be done with incandescents at last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EandB No more waiting for CFL warm up!
I recently purchased 3 Kobi brand dimmable LED candelabra base torpedo bulbs with a drip tip for my kitchen ceiling fan lights. They are 40W equivalents, but only use FIVE WATTS of electricity. I got them today and replaced the aging CFL bulbs with these. They have a color temperature of 2700K, meaning they are a natural sort of light, not stark white. I really like the fact that they are INSTANT ON, no waiting, like for a CFL bulb, to be very bright. I am not used to instant-on for a bulb any more, after years of using CFLs, so it's a real treat. These Kobi brand LEDs are also nice and compact, without large heat sink fan blades like some LED bulbs I've seen. They are very elegant looking in the bell-shaped glass shades of the ceiling fan. I think my debut into the world of LED lighting is a success with these bulbs.
