The PLT 101159 T8 LED tube lamp provides exceptional LED lighting with reduced energy and maintenance costs. Measuring two feet in length and operating at 9 watts, this lamp has a particularly wide beam spread of 240 degrees, a cool white color temperature of 4000K, and a rated lifetime of 40,000 hours. This lamp is an ideal T12 replacement as well since it uses the same non-shunted lampholders that a T8 does. This PLT lamp also does not require a ballast to work and offers a built-in universal line voltage driver, making it a top-of-the-line replacement for standard fluorescent lamps. Do not use with dimmers.This LED T8 tube is not intended for use in water-tight or vapor-tight lighting fixtures which are described as "totally enclosed fixtures" on tube packaging.
