The Hatch RS12-105-277 is a 11.5-volt electronic low voltage transformer for halogen lighting and incandescent rope light. It can power up to 105 watts of halogen lighting or over 30 feet of 11.5-volt incandescent rope light. The lightweight aluminum transformer is moisture-resistant and is just three inches long and less than an inch deep, making it easy to install out of sight, indoors or outdoors. With harmonic distortion of less than 20 percent, a high power factor of 0.95, and virtually no audible noise, the RS12-105-277 has none of the drawbacks of older magnetic transformers. This electronic transformer works with most commercially available dimmers. Hardwire electronic dimmers are recommended for optimum performance. Once you install this transformer, you'll forget it's even there!
