One of the most practical energy-efficient T8 lamps on the market today, the Forest Lighting MT8W09-06 retrofit tube lamp provides exceptional LED lighting with reduced energy and maintenance costs compared to its ordinary 27-watt fluorescent equivalent. Measuring 2 feet in length and operating at 12 watts, this lamp has a cool white color temperature of 4100K, a rated lifetime of 30,000 hours, and a brilliant lumen output of 1100. The Forest Lighting MT8W09-06 operates at 100/277 volts with a 120 degree beam angle, making it ideal for hotels, conference rooms, schools, hospitals and many other areas. Replacing fluorescent lights typically installed in commercial areas with high ceilings can be expensive. This lamp is an ideal T12 replacement as well since it uses the same non-shunted lampholders that a T8 does. This retrofit LED will provide additional savings by reducing the need for frequent replacement. This T8 LED does not require a ballast to work and offers a built-in universal line voltage driver.
