This rope light splice housing clamp is used when visible and invisible areas of rope light need splice repair or when a change to an alternate color is desired. This connector includes splice piercing pins for use with 1/2-inch, 2-wire rope lights and gives you the ability to connect two strands of rope light, allowing you any indoor or outdoor areas with accent lighting. It can be used with 12, 24, or 120 volt rope lights and is perfect to create unique lighting designs. We recommend using silicone to seal the gap between rope light and connector after installation.

Description

This rope light splice housing clamp is used when visible and invisible areas of rope light need splice repair or when a change to an alternate color is desired. This connector includes splice piercing pins for use with 1/2-inch, 2-wire rope lights and gives you the ability to connect two strands of rope light, allowing you any indoor or outdoor areas with accent lighting. Installation

Connecting cut-pieces of rope light

Caution: Only cut-pieces of rope light in the same voltage can be connected

  1. Insert the easy splice connector into the wire points of the rope light.
  2. Place the cut-pieces of rope light with easy splice connector in the middle of the housing clamp. Make sure the easy splice connector is in the center channel of the housing clamp.
  3. Fill the housing clamp with neutral silicone adhesive to cover the connection fully to prevent build up of moisture
  4. Lock together upper and lower parts of the housing clamp and fasten tightly.
