This Green Creative 57814 LED PL retrofit lamp can be direct-wire installed by removing the existing ballast and connecting the lamp directly to the electrical power socket or plug and play installation using a compatible ballast.
Type A+B - Hybrid: Type A+B hybrid types are the most versatile tubes. They reduce installation issues because you can start by using them as plug and play with a compatible ballast, then switch to ballast bypass operation when the ballast reaches its end of life.
