2 Wire - 120 Volt - 148 ft. Spool - FlexTec MFL-15Y

Looking for the longest lasting yellow rope light? This LED rope light is an energy saving variant of our basic 120 volt rope light. Perfect for light commercial and residential applications, it functions the same as the incandescent rope light it replaces. Still using only 0.53 watts per foot, this high output rope light is more than twice as bright as the competition. The 3/8 inch version packs all the punch of the standard 1/2 inch rope light, but is easier to conceal in tight locations.

Includes (1) Pre-attached Power Cord and End Cap

Installation

Mounting Tips

Continuous flexing of rope light may damage its internal electrical connections. To avoid premature failure, mount rope light to sturdy surfaces such as wood or glass and reinforce it with a channel raceway or reflector trim of the correct diameter.

If you must install rope light on an unstable or moving surface such as trees or bushes, it is most cost-effective to use incandescent rope light, which can be replaced at a lower cost than LED rope light.

Movement of frozen rope lights may also damage electrical connections. Avoid installing or re-spooling rope light when temperatures are below freezing. The PVC tubing can become brittle in temperatures below 50 deg. F.

Note on UL Listing and Installation Safety

Please note that cutting this rope light, even following manufacturer instructions, will void the UL listing of the product. This, however, does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe.

If UL listing is an important concern for you or your organization either use the full length of the spool without cutting it or consider purchasing our shorter rope light "kits".

While 1000Bulbs.com encourages all creative use of rope lights, we assume no responsibility for problems arising from cutting rope light. Professional installation is always recommended.
