For an easy direct wire installation that eliminates ballast maintenance and compatibility issues, use these T5 LED tubes.
Type B - Ballast Bypass: Type B LED tubes require bypassing (or removing) the ballast and rewiring to line voltage. The advantage is eliminating the ballast reduces future maintenance costs.
Note: Part of this ballast bypass LED T5 tube holds an integrated driver which may make the tube appear unlit. The light output is concentrated across the remaining tube and delivers 100% of its rated lumen output.
