With a direct wire operation, these LED u-bend tubes run off direct 120-277 line voltage without the need of a ballast or the hefty costs that come with their maintenance.
Type B - Ballast Bypass: Type B LED tubes require bypassing (or removing) the ballast and rewiring to line voltage. The advantage is eliminating the ballast reduces future maintenance costs.
