Upgrading your fluorescent troffers just got easier with these PLTS-60018 hybrid LED T8 U-bend lamps by PLT.
Hybrid technology reduces maintenance time and expenses, allowing for quick and easy installation whether a ballast is present or not. You can quickly install these type A+B lamps to an existing compatible ballast fixture as plug-and-play then once the ballast expires, simply rewire them directly to the line voltage.
The frosted glass lens helps reduce harsh glare by diffusing the light output for uniform, end-to-end light distribution.
These 4000K retrofits have an average rated life of 50,000 hours making them an ideal replacement for your office, commercial, or retail space.
Lumens Per Watt – What does it mean? This term refers to the energy-efficiency of a light source, or how much visible light a source produces compared to the amount of electricity it uses. The higher the number, the less costly it is to run the light.
Type A+B - Hybrid: Type A+B hybrid types are the most versatile tubes. They reduce installation issues because you can start by using them as plug and play with a compatible ballast, then switch to ballast bypass operation when the ballast reaches its end of life.
DLC Standard 5.1 - Why is it important? DLC 5.1 is designed to improve the quality and controllability of high-performance, energy-efficient commercial lighting products by creating requirements and standards in light quality characteristics such as color performance, discomfort glare, and light distribution; and increases the control and functionality of energy-efficient technology, bringing maximum energy-savings and user benefits to the forefront.
