Convert new or existing fluorescent fixtures into unobtrusive emergency lighting with this low-profile emergency backup ballast (BALT5-500TD) by Assurance Emergency Lighting. This fluorescent ballast operates with switched or unswitched fixtures for a minimum of 90 minutes and emits up to 500 Lumens in emergency mode.
This ballast features a sealed, long-lasting 2.4V NiCad internal rechargeable battery and a compatible solid-state, two-rate automatic charger. Its low-profile housing is composed from galvanized steel and is compact enough to fit on or in most fluorescent fixtures.
It can operate with most one-, two-, three-, and four-lamp electronic, standard and dimming AC ballasts. Compatible lamps include the following lamps: T5, T5HO, T8, T12, circular T5/T9, U-bend T8/T12, or long CFL.
