Convert new or existing fluorescent fixtures into emergency lighting with Bodine's low-profile emergency backup ballast. Compatible with low-profile or standard-size AC ballasts, this backup battery works to convert T5 and T8 fluorescent fixtures into emergency lighting.

When an outage occurs, the emergency backup ballast immediately switches to emergency mode to operate one lamp at a reduced lumen output for up to 90 minutes.  Once AC power is restored, the emergency ballast automatically returns to charging mode and delays AC ballast operation for three seconds to prevent false tripping.

This backup ballast is ideal for use with either standard or high-output 2-ft to 4-ft. T5 fluorescent lamps, 2-ft. to 5-ft. T8 fluorescent lamps, 4-Pin CFL lamps, or select Philips LED T8 tubes in a variety of spaces such as offices, lounges, lobbies, and more.
