This direct burial butt splice kit includes one 14 AWG to 106 MCM mechanical connector and two 1 AWG to 168 MCM adhesive-lined thick wall heat shrink tubes. When heated, the tubing shrinks tightly around the connection, forming a barrier against corrosion, chemicals, and soil exposure.
