Install EPCO's copper butt splice kit for robust and code-compliant splicing. This kit includes one mechanical butt splice connector for 2 AWG to 8 AWG copper conductors and one thick wall, adhesive lined heat shrink tube sized for 6 AWG to 2 AWG.
When heated, the tubing's inner adhesive forms a uniform, moisture-resistant seal to protect the splice from corrosion, environmental exposure, and mechanical stress.
