Its dual-layered construction pairs a cross-linked polyolefin outer jacket with a heat-activated inner lining. When heated, the tubing shrinks from 0.75 in. to 0.24 in. and conforms tightly to cable jackets and connectors, filling voids to create a secure bond.

The tubing maintains flexibility and strength under extreme conditions. It resists cracking under heat shock up to 437-Deg. F and remains pliable at temperatures as low as -67-Deg. F. Once installed, the adhesive-line sealant protects against water absorption, UV exposure, fungal growth, and corrosion.

Sized for 6 AWG to 2 AWG wire conductors, these tubes are rated for both 600-Volt and 1000-Volt applications, providing reliable performance in standard residential and commercial systems.
