The Intermatic EH40 electronic water heater timer provides automatic time control for electric water heaters. Operating at 240 volts, it can be programmed for repeat daily, 5-day work week, weekend, or individual day scheduling. The timer can also be scheduled to switch the water heater off when not in use during the day. The timer can be set to operate up to 6 ON/OFF operations daily or 42 weekly. This EH40 has an external override switch and an LED load indicator for ease in scheduling hot water for any added hot water needs. The timer includes a 'AA' alkaline battery carryover which saves the program information for a minimum of 3 years. UL listed and CSA certified, this water heater timer is perfect for use in residential, institutional, commercial, and military applications.
