R40 and BR40 incandescent light bulbs are the preferred choice for 6 inch recessed can lights. With an amazing 20,000 hour life, the Litetronics L-167-E will outlast almost all bulbs of its kind. This bulb is build for long life and durability using a larger, thicker filament.
NOTE: The design although long lasting, does slightly reduce lumen output compared to standard 150W BR40 bulbs.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great price for this bulb. The price on this bulb is suprising low since it is not being made in the US anymore. It lasts a long time and the ones in my kitchen are on 2-3 hours a day. January 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great, long lasting bulb. These particular bulbs have become harder and harder to find in the store. It is a great, long lasting bulb. Thank goodness for your website! You have this and many other products that I need. Your website is very user friendly, and I received my order quickly. Keep up the good work! June 10, 2011

Rated 4 out of 5 by This is becoming a hard to find product. I run an artists retreat and use these bulbs in the visual artist studios. The light they provide is preferred by the artists over CFLs or LEDs. While we lose efficiency, we gain natural light which is important to the service we provide. October 28, 2011
