Looking for the perfect blue rope light? 120 volt rope light is the most basic of all rope light types, perfect for residential and even light commercial use. Simply bend and apply this "plug and play" product in whatever way your project requires. The 3/8 inch version packs all the punch of the standard 1/2 inch rope light, but is easier to conceal in tight locations. Includes (1) Rope Light Spool, (3) Power Cords with Connectors, (3) Splice Connectors, and (3) End Caps.

NOTE: All accessories are approved for indoor use only. Outdoor use accessories are available separately at 1000Bulbs.com.
Continuous flexing of rope light may damage its internal electrical connections. To avoid premature failure, mount rope light to sturdy surfaces such as wood or glass and reinforce it with a channel raceway or reflector trim of the correct diameter.
If you must install rope light on an unstable or moving surface such as trees or bushes, it is most cost-effective to use incandescent rope light, which can be replaced at a lower cost than LED rope light.
Movement of frozen rope lights may also damage electrical connections. Avoid installing or re-spooling rope light when temperatures are below freezing. The PVC tubing can become brittle in temperatures below 50 deg. F.
Please note that cutting this rope light, even following manufacturer instructions, will void the UL listing of the product. This, however, does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe.
If UL listing is an important concern for you or your organization either use the full length of the spool without cutting it or consider purchasing our shorter rope light "kits".
While 1000Bulbs.com encourages all creative use of rope lights, we assume no responsibility for problems arising from cutting rope light. Professional installation is always recommended.
