If a power outage occurs, the 75047 also serves as a portable or stabilized emergency back up flashlight that runs off of 3 'AAA" batteries that can last up to 8 hours. The included batteries recharge automatically when plugged in. This night light is perfect for any dark area where an extra light is needed, such as stairs or hallways.
