The 70-watt GE ConstantColor 22124 BD17 ceramic metal halide lamp is the ultimate light source for all applications. It uses an advanced three-piece arc tube design developed through rigorous Six Sigma processes. With the three-piece arc tube, this ceramic metal halide lamp has a survival rate of up to 96% at 15,000 hours, which means greater reliability! Its crisp, white 3000K light provides dramatic accents and highlights, with excellent color rendering and improved spectral distribution with enriched reds. Please note that metal halide lamps cannot be operated without a ballast.
