Customer Reviews

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 18 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome price, excellent fast service, I've bought over 400 for two condo associations. Nice low level ambient lighting but puts out whst you need Excellent in every way. Will buy more when I need them. Great setvice April 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for nightlights and outdoor pathway lighting I've used these to replace all the in-wall enclosed night lights in my house, which used to contain 15w incandescent bulbs. These are quite a bit brighter, which is fine in some places, but not so great in others. I can't find a lower-wattage light though, so these are great :). I've also used these to replace some outdoor path lighting. They work great in the climate where I live, but it doesn't get very cold here. Given that they're CFL, they probably wouldn't work well in cold weather. April 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I put these bulbs to the test, and the bulb won! I first put them in bedside lamps but use them regularly in all types of applications. The bulb surprised me on it's brightness. pulls less wattage (5) than a night lite at 15 watts, but puts out 40 watts of light. February 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent choice If you want soft indoor lighting - especially in a multi-bulb fixture, this little light does the job. Have not had a failure yet. September 22, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Smallest CFL I could find. Roughly 10% new failure rate. I must continue to buy this bulb because I need a number of the smallest standard base CFL I can find for a special area. The SATCO product is the smallest product I can find, and is priced at a good purchase price. However, over 5 years of using this bulb I have found that a surprising number of bulbs do not work when installed, I estimate 10%. Further, there is a noticeable number of bulbs that do not have the service life indicated on the packaging. Reliability is the only reason I rate the product as only GOOD> June 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for the front yard I couldn't find these low wattage CFLs in any store, so I ordered them at 1000bulbs. They work just fine and keep my front porch light (which has 4 bulbs in it) from being too bright. February 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value These bulbs were a great value. Small and easy to install. Lighting is perfect and only 5 W burning. Very happy with purchase and customer service. Great company to do business with. November 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great bulb for the price! I have several of these. I use them outdoors in my porch light fixtures, as I turn on my porch lights all night long. I have one by the door and two on either side of the garage door. They are easily bright enough for anything I'd need to do outside at night such as take trash to the curb, provide a safe environment for passers-by, etc. And at only 5 watts each, they probably only cost a few dollars a year to run.
