Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 28 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product gives a warm illuminating light Give off plenty of light. Gets to full brightness in about 45 seconds. Throws off hardly any heat which was a problem with the incandescents they replaced. Price was very good. Shipping was quick. October 18, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product These bulbs actually are brighter than their 60 watt equivalent incandescent. They reach full brightness as fast and in most cases faster than any others I've tried. For the price you can't beat them. has the best prices I've found. April 15, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice lamp This lamps works just fine. Wish it was dimmable. April 13, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great value... As long you don't really need "warm white" These bulbs are priced great! No complaints there. They don't take too long to warm up and are nice and bright when they do. My only complaint is that they are definitely not equivalent in color to an incandescent bulb. They create a mildly cool feel and tend to cast a faint greenish hue (when compared to an incandescent). All that said, I probably wouldn't notice it if the room I have them in was a color other than a warm mustardy yellow. Overall, I think i'll learn to live with it for the price. April 6, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by finally a great flourescent flood I replaced 14 65 watt floods in my kitchen with these and I couldn't be happier. With a quick warm up of about 40 seconds, these bulbs are easily as bright as their 65 watt counterparts. The color is almost identical to the 65 watt bulb, too. And,in the summer, my kitchen will be much cooler, which translates to less air conditioning needed to keep my kitchen cool on a hot summer day. And the price, at under $3 bucks, is less then i pay at the big box hardware store for the 65 watt floods I was using. I love saving and this is a great saver. March 23, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great overall product I have 30 recessed lights in my new house. The prior homeowner had 75watt regular bulbs in each. Talk about a lot of energy consumption. I bought these at a reasonable price considering they are to last 9 years. So far I like how they work and put off a brighter light than traditional lighting. I'm transformed! February 29, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great value, but watch out for color and packaging These seem like very high quality bulbs and are obviously a great value. They're not perfect though. They definitely don't give the "warm white" light I've come to expect from other 2700K CFLs. They're more of a "full spectrum" 5000K sort of light... very fluorescent looking. The packaging could be improved, too. Each bulb is packed in an individual plastic clamshell. This seems very wasteful and defeats the purpose of ordering by the case. Still love 1000 Bulbs, but I won't be buying these CFLs again. February 21, 2012
