The Paraclipse 72640 UV Replacement Lamp for Insect Inn IV with Starter is a 15 inch straight lamp used to eliminate pesky flies from commercial or industrial size applications. Paraclipse recommends replacing ultraviolet lamps after eight months of use to maintain optimal performance of the Insect Inn. After eight months of use, the UV output of the lamp will decrease approximately 50 percent. After this time the lamp may still light but is no longer emitting enough of the special UV frequency required for an effective insect catch.
