I bought these lights for use in a Christmas parade, and they far exceeded my expectations. This is the first time I've used LED lighting, and it is definitely superior to regular bulbs. The light was so bright that it reflected off the ground; did I mention that these lights were used on horses? I put clear, green, and red on my headstall, around my saddle pad, and on the breast strap and they certainly attracted attention. I also put some on my granddaughter's horse, and we won 1st place in the equine units!

Based on another review, we expected these lights to be very bright and light up a pretty good area. They only lit a small space right around the bulb and did not cast any light. The person who used them on her horse and said they reflected off the ground must've been riding a miniature pony. Being battery operated certainly makes them convenient, and I'm sure they'd be fine for use on a tree or wreath, but what we needed was for them to cast light and even in a dark room, they don't do that.

What a compliment they are at Christmas, but I also plan to use them year round... I also purchased the longer strings for the mantle. Great Value, too.

The lights are brighter than I expected. They are a great value and worked great in our centerpieces. We were able to hide the battery box. I would buy these again.

great for using where there is no elec. decor etc. price could be just a little less, so you could buy more. But I really used them everywhere for xmas and other parties.
