The 400-watt Philips MasterColor 14598-6 ED28 ceramic metal halide lamp offers a range of high-efficiency long life of 20,000 hours with stable color over its lifetime and a crisp, sparkling light to be used in enclosed fixtures. It has a color temperature of 4200K with a mogul (EX39) base. Please note that metal halide lamps cannot be operated without a ballast.
