Customer Reviews

Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by The Best of Dimmable CFLs Previous dimmable CFLs tended to flicker at low light levels and had a long list of restrictions concerning which dimmers to use and so on. TCP TruDims are much better. No, they don't dim like incandescents or halogen, and they do take a minimal amount of time to warm, but if you need dimmable CFLs, these are the best on the market! This particular R30 has worked great in our recessed cans. December 1, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good dimming range I purchased 12 light bulbs in Dec 2012. The dimming range was much better than other brand CFLs. 2 of the 12 light bulbs failed in Nov 2013. The customer service from 1000Bulbs was great regarding refund. Given that the warranty is 24 month and the price for these CFLs we expected a longer lifetime. Other brand dimmable CFLs also failed in this time period. All CFLs were used with specific CFL approved dimmers. It seems that the technology still does not keep up with the life expectancy published by the manufacturer (12000 hrs). November 21, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Iffy bulb but quality customer service Bought 7 of these in August 2011. One of the bulbs stopped working in May 2012. A second has begun flickering whether dimming or full power. 1000 Bulbs has stood behind this product and promptly shipped out replacements for the nominal shipping fee. All told, these work as advertised when they aren't defective. They are relatively cool burning and give off nice light for CFLs. However, I am pretty sure I will not replace them at my expense when the warranty expires. Hopefully, LEDs will come down in price by then. August 17, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good bulbs if you want cfl's that are dimmable. I purchased these bulbs because I wanted cfl's that were dimmable. When you first turn them on, they are dim like alot of cfl's. They brighten up within a minute. They are a bright, warm light. May 26, 2012
