Good cord priced competitively. Used it on some modern-rustic chandeliers which turned out very good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dave4444 Best Price for this Authentic Vintage Wire
Best Price for this Authentic Vintage Wire -- I just received my order and I have been using this twisted wire on all my projects today. It is a delight to work with! ........................ And, it brings back a flood of happy memories: this is identical to the wire my grandfather used when I was a lad (except today's nylon makes this twisted pair wire stronger/sturdier/longer lasting than the original silk my grandfather used#...............Plus, my order arrived SUPER FAST, was WELL PACKED, and a GOOD VALUE. ................................ I wish I had known that 1000bulbs.com sold cloth wire two years ago - I would have saved a LOT of money for my light shop & customers.
.................................Appreciatively, dave in austin, texas
ps: I really LIKE & TRUST this store - I have found they always have excellent prices/values on even their very hard to find items #like 220 volt/Euro bulbs).

Rated 3 out of 5 by SpencerATX Too small for most uses
I hate writing reviews of products when there is nothing functionally wrong with the product, but consumers need to know that this twisted wire is really small. It's so small that you will definitely need a strain relief for any socket you use. I purchased the antique plugs with this wire, and the opening for the antique plug is so large that this wire is very loose. If someone were to grab the wire instead of the plug itself, they could easily pull the wire out of the plug. It also doesn't fit well with any normal socket. I had to purchase grommets to fit inside of the plugs, and a strain relief for the socket in order for the wire not to be ripped out. I would recommend the larger round antique wire, not this twisted kind. Wish I had known how small this wire was before I purchased. Yes, I know that it is 18AWG (which is standard), but that doesn't describe how thick the dielectric is (the surrounding insulation). The dielectric is too small to fit any normal application, and I feel that this wire presents a fire hazard. Definitely not good if you are trying to sell a product, seems like it is a cheap product.
