Rated 5 out of 5 by great bulb use it in my early electric light fixture in the foyer that doesn't have any glass shades. LIght is warm, give an immediate old-time look and feel. December 28, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by If a period looking bulb is needed, this one is great. I work in the theatre, and we often need to have authentic, period lighting. These carbon filament replica lamps are great. They have the correct look with modern engineering that gives a much longer lamp life that their original counterparts. There are several models, from various eras available. The lamps are moderately expensive, but reasonably priced given their niche market. A 12v version would be nice for battery powered applications. June 10, 2011
