TruStart 5800930K is the first CFL of its kind, providing nearly full brightness in a snap, as well as an industry first 20,000 hour rated life. TruStart is ready for you to use right after the light switch is flipped, unlike many traditional CFLs on the market today that take minutes to reach a usable light level. With TruStart 9 watt bulbs there is no annoying warm up time or need to wait to have usable light, just like an incandescent light bulb. Ideal for table lamps, wall sconces, recessed can lights, chandeliers, and ceiling fixtures.

Mercury containing products sold into the state of WA include an environmental handling charge of .25/each

Customer Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Color, Quick to Brightness This bulb is very compact which really is appreciated in some smaller fixtures. The color is right about where it should be, not too yellow. It's definitely as bright as other 40watts bulbs I've had. And has been working well for a month. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is cause it has a slight delay when you turn it on. I have not noticed that with many other cfls. However its bright right after it does turn on, and that delay is proabably less than one second, so it's not too bad. May 23, 2013
