Rated 5 out of 5 by datwell This bulb is just super! And it can fit in many smaller fixtures..
This is a great long-term investment! And it does fit where some others will not. Great price & fast shipping too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Capt Did not work for my application
Bought these bulbs for garage-door openers. The led bulbs interfere with remotes causing them not to work. Good bulbs, but not for this application

I used this lamp in a large chandolier and the light pattern was very even. A must for my OCD. I would highly recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by carlu Very nice light
Very bright light. Room is 16'x24' with slopped ceiling (8' on side and 14' on the other. with even 3 of these it was too much light and 5 was insane :) Ended up buying lower wattage lights for the room but still waiting on those to arrive.
There is one of the bulbs that doesn't light up when turned on in with dimmer set to lowest setting. Maybe a little more work on tolerances?
Hopefully prices continue to come down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jwpjr765 Great product!
We've been shopping for incand. & CFL replacements for quite a few months. We purchased 8 lights for our bathrooms and these are probably the best overall bulbs along with value we've found. The temp and lumens mean these display very bright light. So, bright generally we have to use our Lutron dimmer. And, do make sure to purchase a quality dimmer. We are very happy with this product we've ordered 4 more for our bedroom.

I bought one of these light bulbs for a reading lamp, and it was far superior to the CFL I had there. So, one day I decided to start replacing the CFL bulbs. Some of those already had black rings near the base, indicating they were nearing the end of their lives. I later learned that the CFL bulbs had a fire risk, plus they put out dirty electricity.
Now, this project was done in phases. I had fixtures with 4 bulbs--I replaced the inner ones, and was appalled at how dirty the light was from the remaining CFL bulbs. I bought the 5000 K bulbs, as this was as close to daylight (at 6500 K) as I could find, and I find the light to be much cleaner. And now that I finished the project, the light is so much cleaner and more pleasant.
If you have incandescent lights, get these--don't waste your money on CFL bulbs. These are more expensive, but you will not be throwing them in the rubbish or recycling them so soon. If you already have CFL, replace them with LED. I recommend the stark white, and you will be surprised by how much better the colors pop out. Even "daylight" CLF bulbs are inferior--I tried one of those, and they emitted detectable fumes. Not so with these LEDs.
One thing I do not recommend these bulbs for: If you are relying on them for omnidirectional lighting (like an upward facing lamp#, all the light will be directed toward the ceiling. I recommend omnidirectional LEDs instead. But, these bulbs are great for when you frequently turn them on and off #no ruining these like CFL). They are also great for children who forget to turn off the lights or where you need them for extended periods.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DSquared This product was more than I expected.
I am using these to replace 65 watt bulbs in my basement entertainment area. They are brighter than the incondecent bulbs. If they last half as long as advertised I will save a bundle.
