Featuring heat-resistant PVC tubing with multi-color bulbs, this FlexTec CF5-65BGRY incandescent chasing rope light can add animation to your lighting design. When used with a chasing controller (sold separately), this 120 volt rope light will flash and chase, and put on a light show that is as easy to control as it is to install. Though it functions the same as our standard rope light, this incandescent rope light is longer lasting and energy efficient.
- Channel raceways (sold separately) are recommended for straight line installations
- Each reel includes 3 power cord, 3 end caps, and 3 splice connectors
- Uses only 3 watts per foot, twice as bright as the competition
- Maximum run is 150 feet
- Dimmable and flashable

Installation
Continuous flexing of rope light may damage its internal electrical connections. To avoid premature failure, mount rope light to sturdy surfaces such as wood or glass and reinforce it with a channel raceway or reflector trim of the correct diameter.
If you must install rope light on an unstable or moving surface such as trees or bushes, it is most cost-effective to use incandescent rope light, which can be replaced at a lower cost than LED rope light.
Movement of frozen rope lights may also damage electrical connections. Avoid installing or re-spooling rope light when temperatures are below freezing. The PVC tubing can become brittle in temperatures below 50 deg. F.
Please note that cutting this rope light, even following manufacturer instructions, will void the UL listing of the product. This, however, does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe.
If UL listing is an important concern for you or your organization either use the full length of the spool without cutting it or consider purchasing our shorter rope light "kits".
