Rated 5 out of 5 by mobil106 Very bright
I replaced some 300 watt incandescent bulbs with this bulb, this bulb is a lot brighter with 1/3 the wattage. Was a reasonable way to upgrade lighting in a rented building. Would recommend this bulb.

I had five shop lights in my 20x30 foot barn. Depending on the weather or temperature, they may, or may not light up. I bought these lights to eliminate this problem....they did plus many more lumens to light up my barn.

I love these lights. They're not nearly as hot as incandescent bulbs, yet they work even better..

Rated 5 out of 5 by herky81 excellent lights
I bought these lights to try in my garage. I only bought 3 to start and try out. I plan on buying an additional 6. These 3 put out more light than the other 6 traditional bulbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bobl27 excellent product saved me from having to install fixtures
Without these I would have had to install light fixtures in my basement. Set up 7 bulbs instead and looks like daylight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Frosty Very bright light purchased for a pole barn.
I only tested these lights after receiving them. They are very bright. They all took a short time to reach full brightness at about 60 degrees. I still need to wire the pole barn and will give a full review at a later date. These are made to work in cold weather and hope they do. I researched the best way to light a pole barn that is not heated or cooled. An electrician recommended using these large CFL bulbs. It will be very easy and inexpensive to hang these lights in the barn. I only need to wire standard basement type light fixtures without any reflectors. Three of them will only use 315 watts of power. This was my first purchase from 1000bulbs.com, but it will not be my last. Shipped quickly and well packaged.
