This PLT GPH287T5L germicidal tube lamp has a 2-pin base and operates at 14 watts. Preheated germicidal lamps are operated by a preheat start circuit that employs a relatively compact and economical ballast. Germicidal lamps are used to sterilize work spaces and tools used in biology laboratories and medical facilities.

Note: These lamps are intended for professional use in existing Ultraviolet or Germicidal Systems only.  Exposure to Ultraviolet light can result in serious damage including painful eye and skin irritations.
