Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by this will be the replacement lamp for my existing incandescents faced with replacing incandescents with another lamp, this seems like it could very well turn out to be a blessing. although the initial cost per lamp is much higher, there appears to be a true ROI. These use a lot less energy and have a 4 year warranty. The light doesn't have "hot spots". So far... so good. February 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by currently the Most cost effective FLOOD with WIDEST BEAM angle 40deg Apparently the website filters don't find this bulb easy anymore filtering by beam angles. I first bought 2 of these based off specs of candle power per dollar for 40deg beam angle. Since testing of 2 bulbs in a standard motion flood housing from lowes, we have now replaced every flood lamp bulb on our property with these. They are very bright and the beam angle of 40deg is good enough to get rid of power robbing 100w halogens on the electric bill (now 1/5th of cost to run all the floods). Highly recommended. I'm sure the toshiba are great but when buying a lot of bulbs the cost adds up. Can't wait for technology to increase the beam width even more. LED has came along way in the last 5yrs for outdoor lighting. For indoor they need another 5yrs as CFL still has wider beams and more coverage in our house. Tried all versions of LED just to see whats new :) Stay away from the LED bulbs at lowes/home depot; shop 1000bulbs to find exactly what you want seeing the specs. May 24, 2013
