The Lumatek 902553 air-cooled digital ballast is the ideal choice for any serious grower. With the ability to operate metal halide and high pressure sodium bulbs at 1000 watts and 120 to 240 volts, the Lumatek can automatically sense the bulb you are using and will operate it to ANSI specifications. Simply insert a metal halide or high pressure sodium lamp, select the specified wattage, and presto! The ballast will automatically know the bulb type and operate your lamp. Silent when operating, this ballast prevents lamp flickering and offers optional selectable dimming levels at 400, 600, and 1000-watt levels. When changing to a reduced power option, the Slow Start Transition System in the air-cooled ballast gradually adjusts the input wattage to reduce bulb shock, increasing the life of your lamps. Includes a 120-volt power cord (240-volt cord sold separately).
