Archipelago LG25C24027K3 LED - 3.5 Watt - G25 Clear Globe - 3.12 in. Diameter.
I bought 8 of these to install over 2 different bathroom vanities. The bulbs face straight out. One light bar takes 5 and the other 3. Although these are low lumen bulbs this many used together still produce enough light (in either application) to light the whole bathroom. I don’t think any company makes anything with a lower lumen rating in a G25 size LED. A dimmer switch could be used.
I installed them only two days ago. They are appealing to look at. I personally prefer frosted globe bulbs as any clear bulbs tend to cast shadows but these are not made in frosted.
In another review someone mentioned a dead spot in front of the mirror if these bulbs are used in this manner. I checked and found if less than about 6 inches from the mirror there is an area that is not well lit. If you are more than 6 inches out there is plenty of light. To overcome this problem you could angle the fixture down a few degrees but for me it is not a problem.
Since these bulbs have no drivers in them they run very cool to the touch, only the base warms up slightly. This is how they can be rated for 50,000 hours. No drivers = less to go wrong.
So far I am very pleased with their performance, especially for the price. They arrived earlier than expected from 1000bulbs.com.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LouFF This is a very nice LED globe style bulb.
This globe style LED bulb looks good, and a 4-lamp fixture provides ample lighting. One review that I read cautioned against lacking downward lighting. This is a good heads-up, but I did not find this to be problem; the light radiates well. I find it absolutely sufficient for shaving. One bulb did go bad in <30 days, and 1000 Bulbs did replace it. I'll see how things go, but I am expecting an LED light to reliably last. The room was noticeably cooler, and I definitely recommend them (as long as they do last).

Rated 5 out of 5 by DaveFromRichardson Looks like clear incandescent bulb
I bought 28 of these to replace the clear globes in my bathrooms. They all worked and look great out of the box.
I haven't made measurements so see how much wattage they use. But they are not hot to the touch.
I have not tried to dim these. I also have some similar Archipelago Candelabra (E12) bulbs on a dimmer and those dim pretty well--although those do flicker just a bit as they are being dimmed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by obrien Great looks at a reasonable price.
You cant even tell that they are LED's. No ugly base and have a cool cover over the LED.

I use these in the bathroom lighting bar above my mirror (a line of bulbs sticking out from the wall). They look great, burn cool, and I presume they're cheap to run (I never look at my electric bill anyway). My review is based on this type of application.
The projection is about 180 degrees (hemispherical) and ends perpendicular to the bulb orientation - the wall space behind the fixture isn't well illuminated (which isn't a big deal for me), but also if the bulbs are "higher" than the level of the mirror, there's a dark zone close to the mirror. So if you are shaving - no problem, you're probably far enough from the mirror that your face is in the light pattern, and thus well lit. If you're popping a zit with your face directly under the bulb (with the bulb mounted on the wall), there's a problem. Close in, you're in the shadow zone where the light doesn't project. It's not bad enough for me to change bulbs, but from a lighting perspective it's not as good as the hot burning, energy-hungry halogens I used to have (which had a more complete lighting pattern that threw light into every corner of the room)

Rated 5 out of 5 by michaelonlongisland Perfect replacement
This LED bulb is the perfect replacement for decorative, clear 25 watt spherical bulbs in chandeliers, sconces, etc.
Not too expensive, very long lasting, and very similar to the incandescent bulbs we replaced. I recommend them highly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by CaliforniaGirl NOT FOR MY PURPOSE
There is nothing wrong with this bulb, in fact it looks great, but it's too bright to use as a make up mirror bulb. I currently have 22 incandescent G25 bulbs on a dimmer around my vanity mirror area. I replaced one incandescent bulb with the LED G25 and it gives off the same amount of light, but the inside light point (where the filament used to be) is so bright I can't look at it. My dimmer works with it, but I have to keep it on the lowest setting making the remaining 21 incandescent bulbs so dim they are useless. Maybe they could come up with a clear bulb that one can comfortably look toward without hurting one's eyes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by EndlessVision My clients are very pleased with the illumination of these bulbs.
The bulbs are great. They look very modern and classy. However, It Was Difficult to Locate a Modern Compatible Dimmer. After talking with the engineers at Archipelago, the compatible dimmer is rated for Incandescent Bulbs ONLY. Nevertheless, once my crew installed the cheap dial dimmer the functionality of the bulbs exceeded my expectations.
It is my opinion, the supplier of the bulb should have the knowledge and be able provide a list of compatible products or hardware. It's more than just buying a bulb.....
