DescriptionThis LED 150 foot cool white rope light spool offers a vibrant, long lasting and cost effective alternative to traditional incandescent rope light. This rope light is perfect for commercial and residential applications. For maximum project flexibility, use these light spools when field cuttability is important but product listing is not. Each full spool is UL Listed, however, cutting LED rope light spool in the field voids the UL Listing. The maximum run for this 120 volt rope light is 150 feet. Each reel includes 1 molded plug, 2 power cords with plugs, and 2 end caps. Track is recommended for straight line installations.

Continuous flexing of rope light may damage its internal electrical connections. To avoid premature failure, mount rope light to sturdy surfaces such as wood or glass and reinforce it with a channel raceway or reflector trim of the correct diameter.
If you must install rope light on an unstable or moving surface such as trees or bushes, it is most cost-effective to use incandescent rope light, which can be replaced at a lower cost than LED rope light.
Movement of frozen rope lights may also damage electrical connections. Avoid installing or re-spooling rope light when temperatures are below freezing. The PVC tubing can become brittle in temperatures below 50 deg. F.
Please note that cutting this rope light, even following manufacturer instructions, will void the UL listing of the product. This, however, does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe.
If UL listing is an important concern for you or your organization either use the full length of the spool without cutting it or consider purchasing our shorter rope light "kits".
While 1000Bulbs.com encourages all creative use of rope lights, we assume no responsibility for problems arising from cutting rope light. Professional installation is always recommended.
