I needed bulbs with a 25 watt output for my porch lamps. This was not available in CFLs, so I was delighted to find it in an energy-efficient LED. The LEDs give a soft, pleasant light and I look forward to their lasting a long time.

As mentioned by another reviewer, the color temp on this bulb is way higher than 2700K, and they are probably brighter than a "25-watt" equivalent. I am keeping them in place (in a back hall), because I have not been able to locate a suitable replacement -- but had to install a three-way dimmer to tolerate them.

We are a Television studio and bought these to replace or failing incandescent bulbs in our news crews make-up room. We have received approval, they were a bit shocked at first as to the amount of "revealing" these new lights provide, but they are glad to know they can now see what they were missing. The light is great, close to incandescent without being too "Yellow" and the 25W LED equivalent actually seems a bit brighter than an incandescent 25W. Nice luminescence all around the bulb.

Rated 3 out of 5 by chrissph The color temp is cooler than 2700k
These are a great value, as always 1000bulbs.com is great to work with, but the color temp on these is closer to 3000k than 2700k.
