Made of die cast aluminum, the Intermatic WP1030MXD weatherproof two-gang in-use cover is ideal for vertical outdoor outlets in a wet location. Compliant with Article 406.9(B)(1) of the 2005 National Electrical Code, the polycarbonate cover fits over any pair of switches or wall outlets, while its pre-adhered neoprene gasket protects the connection from weather. The black, UV-stabilized base fits over existing wall outlets and comes with 6 snap-together, patented inserts to further seal the outlet: (2) for toggle switches, (2) for standard wall outlets, and (2) for decorator switches or outlets. Select a pair of inserts for the application, position them together, and snap them into the base.
