California Compliant - Downlights
Install California compliant downlights to save on energy costs while meeting the state’s regulations for lighting. California requires fixtures to be compliant with Title 20 and JA8 regulations. JA8 requires for lighting to be high efficacy, meet strict requirements, and pass rigorous testing. Title 20 compliant must produce a minimum of 68 Lumens per Watt and have a minimum life of 10,000 hours. Take a look at California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 20 for more information.
Title 20 and JA8 California compliant downlights have a longer life span than their equivalents, which saves money and time spent installing replacements. Additionally, title 20 and JA8 bulbs and fixtures may qualify for rebates. Call our lighting experts at 1-800-624-4488 if you have questions about California compliant downlights.
